Description
SikaTop®-128 K11 Flex Ocean Blue is a premium grade, highly flexible, concealed cementitious waterproofing system with high elongation for waterproofing substrates prone to movement and cracking.
SikaTop®-128 K11 Flex Ocean Blue is a two-component product composed of a cementitious powder and solvent free liquid. Its distinctive Ocean Blue tone makes it easy to ensure that the SikaTop®-128 K11 Flex Ocean Blue is adequately applied over the entire application area. With good adhesion to many substrates, and high flexibility for superior crack bridging capabilities, SikaTop®-128 K11 Flex Ocean Blue can be used as a repair material for bridging cracks in substrate or cracks due to shrinkage, up to 2 mm width.
SikaTop®-128 K11 Flex Ocean Blue can be skimmed, plastered and tiled on directly without any reduction in its bond strength.
Usage
Apply on internal and external surface of precast panel wall and slab, and sealing of precast joints.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
Clean the substrate of any protrusion or substances that may damage the membrane. Ensure all surfaces are free from dirt, dust, grease, oil, wax, curing compounds and any other loose contaminating materials.
Fill all voids, cracks, edges and angles with SikaGrout®-180 or suitable repair material, so that the prepared surface is sound, even and level.
MIXING
Pour SikaTop®-128 K11 Flex Ocean Blue – Liquid into a clean mixing container. Add the SikaTop®-128 K11 Flex Ocean Blue – Powder gradually while mixing until a lump free plastic consistency is achieved. It is recommended that mechanical mixing (400-500 rpm) should be used for 2 – 3 minutes to ensure proper dispersion of the components.
NO ADDITION OF WATER IS ALLOWED.
APPLICATION
- Pre-wet the surface with clean water. Do not allow water ponding.
- Very porous surface must be primed with Sikalastic®-500 Acrylic Primer AP prior to applying SikaTop®-128 K11 Flex Ocean Blue.
- Apply the mixed material onto the prepared surface using a block brush, squeegee or roller in a stiffling action.
- Apply 1 – 2 coats finish depending on site conditions and film thickness required. If a trowel is used for application, all undulating or uneven areas must be patched to level before applying the SikaTop®-128 K11 Flex Ocean Blue to prevent the material from building up too thick in one application.
- Before a 2nd coat is applied, the 1st coat must be left for approximately 2 – 3 hours depending on the thickness, substrate porosity and the temperature until it is dry. The 2nd coat should be applied in a direction perpendicular to the 1st coat.
CLEANING OF TOOLS
All tools and equipment should be cleaned immediately with clean water after use. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.
